The Dripping Springs at Creve Coeur Park in St. Louis County. Taken Thursday, March 20. There's a sign by the springs that says "The famous Dripping Springs. Scene of the tragic death of the lovelorn Indian girl whose broken heart is said to have given the lake its sorrowful name - Creve Coeur." Yet the park's website says, "Lovely, natural wedding site. For 80 people maximum." I dunno, but I wouldn't want to jinx my wedding by being married there.  |
