I'm currently a college student majoring in Geology and double-minoring in History and Nonprofit Leadership Studies, with plans to pursue a graduate degree in Geology.

Artwise I've got my fingers in several pots. I knit, draw, and would paint if I had a studio. Unfortunately I lack the finesse to work in the small detail that most sculpture requires.

I write crack Mary Sue fanfic for fun, and date vicariously through RPs with my FOC. Geology majors have no time for actual romance.

I'm going to start with the cliche "most of you won't read this" AND IT'S OKAY because it's just a lame excuse for why I haven't been on dA regularly for... er... well, the last journal was was August of 2011 so over three years. Couple of basic life updates: I'm still in school.  I know, you'd think I'd have graduated by now BUT NO.  Still chugging along, and I've got a year or two left in my undergrad, and then on to my masters (hopefully).  *cringes at the piles of debt she's accumulated* I'm no longer studying art.  In fact, I hardly ever do art.  (I got the inspiration to draw my FOC in a dress today which led me to dA for pose refere

A New Start?

There are times in your life when you simply have to sit back, take a break, and do some deep thinking. For me, this is one of those times. My year at Missouri State was pretty much a failure, in my eyes, at least.  I made some great friends, but am only one step closer to discovering what I really want to do with my life. That one step was discovering that I don't want to teach.  I find there's no point in trying to teach someone who has no interest in what you're saying.
